Proven Leader. Fighting for Nevada’s Future.

About Cody
Cody Whipple is a fourth-generation Nevadan, small business owner, and rancher who understands what it takes to get things done. Whether it’s growing a business, managing a family cattle ranch, or coaching the next generation of young athletes, Cody has spent his life solving problems, overcoming obstacles, and delivering results for his family, his community, and Nevada.
Born and raised in Hiko, Nevada, Cody grew up working on his family’s ranch, trailing cattle on horseback across Dry Lake Valley and learning firsthand the values of hard work, responsibility, and resilience. But life in rural Nevada wasn’t always easy. When he was just three years old, his father, Kent Whipple, passed away from cancer at 38—one of many victims of Nevada’s above-ground nuclear tests. His mother was left to raise five children, and Cody quickly learned that self-reliance and determination were the keys to success.
A standout athlete, Cody earned a full football scholarship to Virginia Tech University, where he met his wife, Dana. After graduating with a degree in Animal Science, Cody and Dana returned home to Nevada, where they raised three successful daughters while building their businesses and careers.
For the past 25 years, Cody has built a successful small business from the ground up, creating Nevada’s first of its kind digital two-way communication network.
Today, his network serves first responders, school districts, construction companies, and businesses serving Southern Nevada, Southern Utah, Northern Arizona and California, helping keep communities safe and connected. In addition to running his company, Cody manages his family ranch, ensuring that Nevada’s ranching traditions continue for future generations.
Cody understands the challenges facing both rural and suburban Nevadans because he’s lived them. As the son and grandson of public-school teachers, he knows that education decisions should be made by parents and teachers—not bureaucrats. He is a strong advocate for school choice, career and technical education, and expanding youth sports opportunities to ensure every child has the chance to succeed.
A lifelong sportsman and conservationist, Cody has worked closely with wildlife organizations and believes in protecting Second Amendment rights. His daughters have completed hunter safety and wilderness first aid training, and he supports expanding firearm safety education and outdoor programs for young Nevadans.
Now, Cody Whipple is running for Congress in Nevada’s 4th District because Washington isn’t working for Nevada—and that needs to change. He will bring real-world experience and practical solutions to the issues that matter most: lowering the cost of living, supporting small businesses, improving public safety, and ensuring parents—not the government—have control over their children’s education.
Cody isn’t a career politician—he’s a businessman, a rancher, and a leader who delivers results. In Congress, he’ll do what he’s always done: work hard, solve problems, and put Nevadans first.
