Councilmember George “Tommy” Rowe Endorses Cody K Whipple for Congress

HIKO, NV – Cody K Whipple for Congress today proudly announced the endorsement of Caliente City Councilmember George “Tommy” Rowe, a lifelong public servant and respected leader with deep roots in rural Nevada.

Rowe, who currently serves on the Caliente City Council, brings decades of experience and a strong connection to the communities of Nevada’s rural heartland. Over the course of his distinguished career, Rowe has served as a County Commissioner for 12 years, Mayor of Caliente for 10 years, and has spent a total of 16 years on the City Council—a role he continues to hold today.

In addition to his elected service, Rowe dedicated many years to the United States Postal Service, including serving as Officer in Charge of the Overton Post Office, Postmaster in Caliente, Postmaster in Tonopah for five and a half years, and Postmaster in Pioche until his retirement.

“I’ve spent my life serving the people of rural Nevada and understanding the challenges our communities face every day,” said Rowe. “Cody K Whipple is the kind of leader we need in Congress—someone who understands our way of life, will fight for our communities, and won’t forget the rural families who make this state strong. I’m proud to endorse him.”

Rowe’s long-standing service and leadership across multiple rural communities have made him a trusted voice throughout Lincoln County and beyond. His endorsement highlights Whipple’s growing support among leaders who understand the unique needs of Nevada’s rural regions.

“Tommy Rowe is a pillar of rural Nevada,” said Cody K Whipple. “His decades of service—whether as a postmaster, mayor, commissioner, or councilmember—reflect a lifetime commitment to his community. I’m honored to have his support and grateful for his belief in our campaign to bring strong, common-sense leadership to Congress.”

Whipple’s campaign continues to build momentum across Nevada’s 4th Congressional District, earning support from community leaders, small business owners, and advocates committed to strengthening Nevada’s economy, lowering costs, and protecting the Nevada way of life.
